Finding satisfaction and meaning in peace is prefigurative. Doing so is vital to building a world that doesn’t rely on some kind of perceived existential scarcity where people feel anxiety towards finding meaning in their life. People don’t have to earn meaning. They create their own meaning with every action they take. Meaning is not an static atomistic “thing” – it only exists as a relationship between a person and their experiences. It is impossible to live a life without meaning. In other words, everyone inherently has value and meaning and they don’t need to struggle to get them. Conflict isn’t inherently necessary. Peace will suffice and often is far more enjoyable and meaningful. Peace should be the default while conflict should only be a temporary state.
